During recent years, the Ports in the Bremerhaven / Bremen Range rapidly developed into a cluster of production and Port Logistic for the Installation of Off Shore and On Shore Wind Parks. From the early beginning of these activities, wms. has been an active part of this fast track development, starting with the original Agency Service for specialized Multi Purpose Vessels capable to transport oversized and heavy lift components for the Off Shore and On Shore Wind Parks. wms. further specialized into client’s individual requirements related to coordination and controlling functions.

Our coordination and controlling functions include following services:

• Coordination of arrival/departure of cargo according to client’s preplanning schedule
• Negotiations of Terminal Handling Rates
• Agency work for arrival / departure of deep sea vessel as well as barges and pontoons
• Load/discharge operation with stevedores – shift / manpower coordination
• Planning and coordination of Terminal Handling Equipment
• Controlling of stevedoring / lashing gangs shift performance versus pre-planning
• Work permit exemptions for e.g. hot works
• Lashing / unlashing as well as securing / unsecuring of cargo (welders)
• Terminal transport with Heavy Lift trucks / platforms and Mobile Harbour Cranes
• Arranging of cargo surveys and quality control reporting
• Tally, damage control and reporting
• Coordination of Inland Transportation by Heavy Lift trucks: permitting, monitoring and performance controlling
